NADCI SATURDAY SPECIAL - THE FOUR SMART STUDENTS

THE FOUR SMART STUDENTS

One night four college students were out partying late night and didn’t study for the test which was scheduled for the next day. In the morning, they thought of a plan.

They made themselves look dirty with grease and dirt.

Then they went to the Dean and said they had gone out to a wedding last night and on their way back the tire of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back. So they were in no condition to take the test.

The Dean thought for a minute and said they can have the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they will be ready by that time.
On the third day, they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this was a Special Condition Test, all four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test. They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days.
The Test consisted of only two questions with 100 points.

1) Your Name? __________ (1 Point)

2) Which tire burst? __________ (99 Points)
Options – (a) Front Left (b) Front Right (c) Back Left (d) Back Right

NADCI DOSE FOR THE WEEK - ON THE FUTILITY OF NEEDLESS WORRYING

Worrying would never solve your problems, it’ll just waste your time and energy. The time you'd probably use to think of great ideas! The time you'd use to pray!
A wise man once said; “Why worry your head over things you have no control over...”

That reminds me of a popular story titled “The Wise Man”

Now you see, people have been coming to the wise man, complaining about the same problems every time. So, one day he told them a joke and everyone roared in laughter.
After a couple of minutes, he told them the same joke and only a few of them smiled.
When he told the same joke for the third time no one laughed anymore.
At this point, the wise man smiled and said:
“You can’t laugh at the same joke over and over. So why are you always crying about the same problem?” 🤷🏼‍♀️

So, you see, it's not the end until, it is the end. Every problem is a visitor and as you know, visitors come and go!

You will ace those test scores definitely.
You will pass that examination!
You will smile as much as you want to.
It's just a matter of time... Yes! Time.
So, be like the wise man, who doesn't let his problem bother him.
As you prepare for this new week, even at this period of lockdown, make it a resolution!
Say to yourself... “I will not be worried over the things I can't change, because I have the conviction that, time solves all problems. This problem is just an August visitor”
Have an amazing new week...
